Welcome to the Nairobi Film Centre, Your One-Stop-Facility for Creativity and Arts

The Nairobi Film Centre (NFC) is a facility under the Kenya Film Classification Board. Located along the Aga Khan Walk within the Nairobi CBD, the 850-seater facility is ideal for Live events, concerts, corporate events, film screenings and recordings, and religious functions, among others.

The NFC provides a platform for creatives to showcase their talents under KFCB’s Sinema Mashinani Initiative whose objective is to tap and promote talents among the youth for job opportunities and wealth creation while championing for responsible creation and consumption of film and broadcast content.

The Sinema Mashinani is aligned with the Talanta Hela Initiative that is being implemented by the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Creative Economy and Sports, as well as the Fifth Pillar of the Bottom-Up Economic Empowerment Agenda (BETA), aimed at transforming the film sector into an industry that sustains decent livelihoods.
