Local, regional and international filmmakers are meeting at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), Nairobi, for the 7th Edition of the Kalasha International Film and TV Market.

The Kenya Film Classification Board is exhibiting its mandate and service delivery innovations at the three-day event organized by the Kenya Film Commission.

The event that kicked off on Wednesday 27th March 2024, has brought together regional and international stakeholders in the film industry to exchange ideas, collaborate, share stories and develop new business opportunities with the aim of spurring the Creative Economy.

As a regulatory agency, the Board continues to partner in initiatives geared towards spurring the growth of the film industry in line with the Fifth Pillar of the Bottom Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA), as well as the Talanta Hela Initiative being implemented by the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Creative Economy and Sports.
