KFCB Takes Part in Roundtable to Drive Film Industry Growth
The Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) was privileged to take part in the Wikimedia Kenya Creative Industries Roundtable, held at the Baraza Media Lab, Riverside, Nairobi, on Wednesday 26th November 2025.
Discussions during the forum centered on the role of collaboration in shaping Kenya's creative landscape.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Brian Ombayo, KFCB's Senior Film Registration Officer and Head of the Nairobi Film Centre (NFC), reaffirmed the Board's commitment to ensuring a facilitative regulatory environment to spur the growth of the film industry through collaboration with industry stakeholders.
Mr. Ombayo also sensitized participants on the Board's regulatory mandate and programs.
Themed "Amplifying Kenya's Creative Industries Through Open Knowledge and Collaboration," the forum brought together representatives from government agencies, creative sector leaders, development partners, and the media.
