Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) officers undertook a tree planting exercise at the Matuu Level 4 Hospital in Machakos County on 10th November 2022.
The exercise was part of the Board's support towards the national tree planting campaign aimed at increasing Kenya's forest cover.
The exercise undertaken in collaboration with the Management of Matuu Level 4 Hospital was also part of the Board's PC targets for FY2022/2023.
The Board has for the last three years planted more than 500 trees at Matuu Level 4 Hospital.

Speaking during the exercise, Matuu Level 4 Hospital Administrator, Ms. Stella Mwanzia lauded KFCB's tree planting initiative.
"We are glad that KFCB has continued to care for the environment through tree planting," she said.
Ms. Mwanzia noted that the tree-planting initiative is timely and supports the Government’s drive to combat climate change.
"Caring for the environment is a collective responsibility and we must collectively support tree-planting initiatives across the country," Ms. Mwanzia added.
KFCB has continuously supported tree planting initiatives across the country, besides executing its regulatory mandate, programs and campaigns.
