Board Graces the 5th Kenya Universities Performing Arts National Workshop

The Kenya Film Classification Board participated at the 5th National Drama, Beauty Pageant, Visual Arts and Film Workshop, closing ceremony, held at Kisii University on Friday 11th August 2023.

Themed: Supporting Economic Transformation Through Performing Arts,' the workshop brought together participants and representatives from public and private universities across the country, as well as various partners.

Mr. Timothy Owase, CEO, Kenya Film Commission, presided over the event, on behalf of the Ministry of Youth Affairs, The Arts and Sports.

The KFCB's team made a presentation on the 'Role of KFCB with regards to Stage Plays Performances and Theatre', as well as sensitized participants on the Board's mandate, programs, and campaigns.

In line with KFCB's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Policy under the Corporate Social Investment (CSI) component, we also supported the workshop through the provision of co-branded certificates that were awarded to participants.
