Board’s Exhibition at the Annual Devolution Conference 2023

The Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) participated and exhibited during the 10th Devolution Conference, which was organized by the Council of Governors (CoG), held from 15th to 19th August 2023 in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County. 
Themed: 10 Years of Devolution: The Present and the Future: Sub Theme: Driving Transformation from the Local Level: County Governments as the Centre’s of Economic Development,’ the Conference brought together local and international delegates to learn and share the best practices on pertinent issues affecting County Governments and propose best mechanisms to spur socio-economic development and transformational service delivery.
The team led by the Board’s Corporate Communication Manager, Ms. Nelly Muluka sensitized participants who visited the KFCB’s exhibition booth on its regulatory mandate, programs, and services under our consumer advisory function and in line with the Talanta Hela Initiative and the Bottom Up-Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA). 

The KFCB’s Chairperson, Mr. Njogu Wa Njoroge HSC, accompanied by our Ag CEO Mr. Joel Wamalwa, visited the Board’s exhibition booth and applauded the KFCB team for high levels of professionalism in disseminating information to our stakeholders on the Board's regulatory mandate and functions.
