Child Online Safety is a Collective Responsibility

Child Online Safety is a Collective Responsibility

The Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) is mandated by the Films and Stage Plays Act Cap222 to regulate Film and Broadcast content with the aim of protecting children from exposure to inappropriate content as well as to ensure that content conforms to Kenya's culture, national values and aspirations.
The KFCB collaborates with Google-Kenya, the Communication Authority of Kenya, Eveminet Communications Limited, CODE-IP Trust, among other like-minded public and private sector agencies to create awareness on Child Online Safety and Digital Parenting.
Protecting children from exposure to harmful content is a collective responsibility and key, especially weekends, Public holidays, evening hours and school holiday breaks, when children and minors are more likely to be exposed to inappropriate content.
For any information and/or concerns, please contact us timely through our LIVE CHAT on our website (www.kfcb.go.ke).
