The #InnovationJamhuri 2022 Tech and Innovation forum ended on Sunday 11th December, 2022 with a clarion call on Government agencies to adopt technology and innovation in service delivery.

The Kenya Film Classification Board was among the exhibitors at the two-day tech forum, held at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), Nairobi.

The Board continues to leverage on innovations among them: Online Licensing, Live Chat for instant feedback and tech accessibility features for persons with disability available on our website, among others in dispensing services to its diverse stakeholders.

Our digital parenting program aimed at protecting children from exposure to inappropriate content is one among our many other digitalized programs.

Themed: Connect, Innovate and Inspire, the tech forum brought together Government and private sector agencies that showcased innovations and digitization of their services.

It also brought together local and international tech and innovation experts who shared ideas on various topics in regard to technology and innovation, and its role in bridging the gap to access to information, digitization of services and collaboration in advancing technology as an enabler of socio-economic development.

The tech forum was part of marking this year's Kenya Innovation Week as well as the Jamhuri Day celebrations.

The Board is keen on collaborating with public and private sector agencies in executing its regulatory mandate, programs and campaigns while offering support towards the achievement of national development blueprints through technology and innovation.
