Courtesy Call on Kenya Film School

The Kenya Film Classification Board Ag. Chief Executive Officer Mr. Christopher Wambua today paid a courtesy call on Mr. Kibaara Kaugi, the Ag. Director of Kenya Film school (KFS).

Mr. Wambua lauded KFS for providing hands-on skills that the film industry needs to prosper.

The Ag CEO urged students pursuing courses at KFS to champion clean content when they graduate and familiarize themselves with the laws that relates to creation, broadcasting, possession, distribution and exhibition of film and broadcast content.

KFS is a Government talent based institution that gives opportunity to talented youth to develop talents in film while KFCB is a State Agency mandated to regulate film and broadcast content to ensure that content conforms to Kenya’s culture, moral values and national aspirations as well as to protect children from exposure to harmful/adult content.

KFCB remains committed to partnering with like- minded organizations in growing the film industry.
