Kenya Film Summit Awards Gala 2021

The Board joined the Kenya Film Summit closing ceremony and Awards Gala held at the KCA University, Nairobi on 1st October, 2021. 
Speaking at the Gala, Mr. Christopher Wambua, the Board's Ag. Chief Executive Officer, reiterated on the Board's commitment to supporting initiatives such as the Kenya Film Summit to mentor local filmmakers.
He said that the Board is also open to working with local content creators, film students and other like-minded agencies from both the public and private sector on initiatives that are geared towards supporting the film industry.

The Summit organized by the Film Lecturers and Trainers Association of Kenya (FLeTA-K) in partnership with KCA University and supported by the Board, among other partners, brought together film stakeholders, students, trainers and lecturers from different universities, colleges and other learning institutions in the country.
The theme of this year's Edition was 'Digital Transformation in Film Production and Pedagogy'.
During the occasion, film students from various private and public universities in Kenya were awarded with certificates and trophies for their projects in film production.
