KFCB hosts World Scouts Parliamentary Union Kenya Officials Ahead of 2025 General Assembly

The Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB), led by the Ag. Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Nelly Muluka, on Friday, 31st October 2025, hosted officials from the World Scouts Parliamentary Union Kenya (WSPU-Kenya), led by Executive Director Mr. Poppins Misoi.

The meeting explored areas of collaboration between KFCB and WSPU Kenya ahead of the forthcoming WSPU General Assembly, scheduled for 6th to 13th November 2025 in Nyeri County and at Safari Park Hotel, Nairobi.
Themed: Parliamentary Scouts in SDGs, Creative Economy and Climate Action, the Assembly will bring on board Members of Parliament globally, delegates from various institutions, and youth representatives to deliberate on ways to advance sustainable development, innovation, climate action, and global cooperation.

In her remarks during the meeting, Ms Muluka reiterated KFCB's resolve and commitment to supporting initiatives aimed at empowering the youth while, at the same time, ensuring a facilitative regulatory environment to spur the growth of the film sector.
