KFCB Meets Heritage Pageant-Kenya Over Collaboration 

The Kenya Film Classification Board, led by the Ag. Chief Manager, Corporate Services and Administration, Ms. Nelly Muluka, on 2nd May 2024, held a meeting with renowned filmmaker Mr. Dennis Wanjohi and Ms. Immaculate Onyoni of the Pamoja Voice Africa.

They discussed possible collaboration in the forthcoming 2nd Edition of the Heritage Pageants Kenya, slated for 5th July 2024.

The Pageant, an initiative of Pamoja Voice Africa, seeks to provide a distinctive platform for celebrating and preserving Kenya's diverse cultural heritage.

It also champions for promotion of tourism, peace, sports as well as environmental conservation. The initiative's overall objective is to recognize youth talents, especially in fashion, design, and beauty.

KFCB Meets Heritage Pageant-Kenya Over Collaboration 

The KFCB is keen on supporting initiatives geared towards youth talent identification and nurturing in line with the Talanta Hela Initiative that is spearheaded by the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Creative Economy and Sports.

Further, the Board is committed to creating a facilitative regulatory environment for the film industry to thrive in line with the Fifth Pillar of the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA).
