KFCB Meets with Kenya School of Government to Discuss Collaboration in Youth Empowerment Initiatives

The Kenya Film Classification Board Ag. Chief Executive Officer, CPA Paskal Opiyo, on 29th August 2024, hosted Mr Peter Quest, the Head of Youth Programmes, Kenya School of Government (KSG), when he paid a courtesy call on the KFCB

The discussion highlighted the upcoming Regional Youth Conference, set for 2nd to 4th October 2024, and the continued collaboration between KFCB and KSG, including the Creative Arts Centre in Isiolo under KFCB's Sinema Mashinani Initiative.

The KFCB and Kenya School of Government have in the past collaborated in diverse programmes including the drafting of a curriculum for creative arts and the setting-up of a Creative Arts Centre in Isiolo County to empower the youth in the region to positively use their energies by exploiting their talents for job creation under KFCB's Sinema Mashinani Initiative. 

The Board is committed to working with like-minded public and private institutions on programs and initiatives towards promoting the Creative industry for wealth and job creation.
