Radio Spectrum Management & Monitoring System Launched in Nyeri

The Ministry of ICT, Innovation and Youth Affairs Cabinet Secretary, Mr. Joe Mucheru, EGH, yesterday presided over the official launch of the Radio Spectrum Management and Monitoring System (SMMS), a project of the Communications Authority of Kenya (CA), at the Wambugu Farm, Nyeri County.

Principal Secretary, State Department of Broadcasting and Telecommunications, Mrs. Esther Koimett, County Government of Nyeri Governor, Hon. Mutahi Kahiga, CA's Acting Director-General Mrs. Mercy Wanjau, were among other dignitaries that graced the event.

The Kenya Film Classification was also represented at the auspicious event. The Board is keen on forging collaborations with like-minded public and private sector agencies like the CA on related programs and campaigns.
