Students Urged to Consume Clean Audio-Visual Content

The Kenya Film Classification Board, through its Lower Eastern Regional office, participated at the Materi Girls' High School Mentorship and Career Day, held on Saturday 29th July 2023, at the School grounds, and leveraged on the platform to sensitize students on clean content consumption.
The annual event, which was organized by the school alumni, saw more than 1000 students sensitized on responsible consumption of film and broadcast content.
The students were further apprised on the existing opportunities in the film and broadcast sector and urged to pursue their talents, besides their academic work.
The students were reminded to uphold the values of integrity, respect, hard work and consume clean content, as schools close for the August holidays.
The Board donated sanitary pads and other goodies to the more than 1000 girls, in line with our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR),
The Board remains committed to advancing its Clean Content and Media Literacy Campaigns targeting diverse stakeholders in line with our consumer advisory function.
