University Students Urged to Champion Moral Values

The Kenya Film Classification Board Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Ezekiel Mutua, was the Chief Guest during the St. Paul's University Career Conversation Day themed 'Beyond Classroom: Providing a Platform for Career Development and Networking', that took place on Friday 23rd July 2021 at the Limuru Campus.

The Career Conversation is a student-based initiative whose primary objective is to mentor the students, specifically those pursuing Journalism and Film to prepare for the future work environment as well as enlighten them on the existing career opportunities.

Speaking during the informative forum, the CEO called upon students to be agents of change and champion for moral responsibility noting that the contribution by institutions of learning is elemental.
"Institutions of learning are critical in furthering moral reawakening since they are a part of the socializing agent, reason the Board partners with them in our Media Literacy Campaigns", Dr. Mutua said.

Cognizant of the pivotal role played by institutions of learning, the Board continues to forge partnerships with learning institutions in implementation of its regulatory mandate, programs and campaigns for creation and consumption of clean content under the Media Literacy Program dubbed: You Are What You Consume.
