KFCB CEO Meets Pwani Oil Products Limited Officials

The Board’s Management led by CEO Dr. Ezekiel Mutua, MBS met with Pwani Oil Products Limited Corporate Affairs Director Rajan Malde and Brand Manager Anthony Odeo to discuss compliance with CAP 222. The meeting comes after their advert was inadvertently captured as non-compliant with Cap 222 in a recent Press Statement issued by the Board banning unclassified commercials and programs.
Mr. Rajan gave Pwani Oil’s commitment to ensure all adverts are suitable for family viewing in respect to the Watershed period. He also informed the Board that they are in the process of removing all sexual innuendos from their adverts in a bid to appeal to the tastes and common decencies of the Kenyan Society.
