Karen, a baron from Denmark ventures into Kenya at a start of the 20th century. She weds a man called Blixels who forces her to farm coffee but abandons the farm. She falls in love with a poacher and game explorer called Dennis .He shows her around Kenya ,he takes her to several game drives during which they are attacked by lions.He takes her on a airplane ride over the rift valley .One day she contracts disease and decides to go back to Denmark for treatment. When she came back, she spends more time with Dennis before he dies and he is burried in the bush.
