Zanzibar saves its sea on the effects of illegal fishing in Unguja islands of Kwale and Pangumi. The film highlights how the use of explosives and illegal fishing nets has reduced fish in the area, the explosives have led to destruction of the waters leading to extinction of marine creatures like water turtles, dolphins and corals. This has led to calls by the Ras Fumba community for more conservation efforts.
