A theatre performance film of a novel adaptation depicting Tessa, a young woman barrister who graduates from being a bright law student to the top of her game. While here she handles a case of sexual violence with her finding herself defending the accused and winning the case, setting him free and witnessing the pain of fellow victim, fellow woman.
