A lonely Hawaiian girl. Lilo befriends a runaway allien, Stitch who helps her to mend her fragmented family. This is after Lilo lost both her parents and is now under the care of her sister who are not in good terms. The children's department theathens to take Lilo under their care as they feel her sister is not capable of taking good care of her.
