Board Wraps Up Creatives in Arts and Film Stakeholders Engagement - Nakuru Edition

The Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB), on Friday 20th September, 2024, wrapped up the Nakuru Region Stakeholders Engagement Forum under the Creatives in Arts and Film Literacy (CAFIL) Program themed: #UsaniiSafe4All, by meeting law enforcers, drawn from Nakuru County and its environs.
The engagement aimed at creating awareness on the KFCB's mandate, among National Police Officers, and other law enforcers, with the objective of enhancing our partnership to ensure a more structured and coordinated execution of enforcement activities by the KFCB officers in collaboration with the law enforcement agencies.

The officers, drawn from the National Police Service (NPS) and Administration Police Service (APS), led by the Chief Inspector, Mary Mwangi, were also sensitized on the scope of the Board's mandate, among other issues related to our regulatory functions and law enforcement.
The Board works closely with the law enforcers in the execution of its regulatory mandate for compliance in line with the Films and Stage Plays Act, Cap 222.
The next CAFIL Forum will be in Embu County, on Monday 23rd September, 2024.
