Content Examination and Classification

Film and broadcast content creators are required to submit their works, intended for public exhibition, to the Kenya Film Classification Board for examination and classification, for age suitability before exhibiting.
This is in line with the of provisions of the Films and Stage Plays Act Cap 222 of the Laws of Kenya.
The objective of content examination and classification is to protect children from exposure to harmful/adult content.
