In recognition of the key role that enforcement agencies play in supporting the execution of the Kenya Film Classification Board's (KFCB) mandate, today, 27th September 2024, engaged law enforcers drawn from the National Police Service (NPS), the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI), the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP), and the Kenya Police, among other agencies as part of our engagement with stakeholders countrywide.
The engagement aimed at creating awareness on the KFCB's mandate, among the law enforcers in a bid to ensure a structured and coordinated execution of enforcement activities by the KFCB officers in collaboration with the law enforcement agencies.
Speaking at the forum, Mombasa County Commissioner, Mr. Mohammed Noor Hassan, HSC, applauded KFCB for recognizing them and pledged to continue supporting the Board in ensuring compliance with Cap 222.
