KFCB to Partner with Kiambu County in Sinema Mashinani

The Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) led by the Chief Executive Officer Dr. Ezekiel Mutua  met with the Kiambu County Government for discussions around partnering in
the Sinema Mashinani initiative.
The Kiambu County Government delegation was led by the CEC for Education, Culture and Social
Sciences Dr. Joseph Ng’ang’a, CEC for Youth, Sports and Communication Mr. Karungo wa Thang’wa,
and the Director for Gender, Culture and Social Sciences Mary Kirobi.
The CEO emphasized the role of Sinema Mashinani in retrieving culture, identifying, nurturing and
developing talent among the youth. Film has proved instrumental in creating jobs the world over.
