KFCB Surpass Film Licensing Targets for FY 2020/2021

The Films and Stage Plays Act Cap 222 of the Laws of Kenya mandates the Kenya Film Classification Board to issue licences to local and international filmmakers and Certificates of Registration to film agents upon fulfilling the relevant requirements.

During the Financial Year (FY) 2020/2021, the Board issued 732 licences to local and international filmmakers as well as 165 certificates of registration to film agents.
