Monitor content Accessed by Children and Guide them Appropriately

Are you a parent, a caregiver, or a guardian?
Do you know whom your child is chatting with online?
What about the content that your minor is interacting with through social media platforms and TV?
In line with our consumer advisory function, the Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) urges parents and caregivers to monitor the audio-visual content accessed and consumed by their children or those under their care on various media platforms and guide them appropriately.
Protecting children from exposure to inappropriate audio-visual content is a collective responsibility!
KFCB is a State agency mandated by the Films and Stage Plays Act, Cap 222 of the Laws of Kenya to regulate film and broadcast content in Kenya to ensure that audiovisual content meant for exhibition or distribution in public spaces conforms to Kenya's culture, National values, and aspirations.
