The National Long Rains Tree Planting Campaign

The Board's CEO Dr. Ezekiel Mutua on Friday 28th May, 2021, joined the Broadcasting and Telecommunications Principal Secretary (PS), Ms. Esther Koimett, for the National Long Rains Tree Planting campaign aimed at achieving the 10% tree cover by 2022 at Tumeiyo, Elgeyo Marakwet County.
The annual country-wide campaign coordinated by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry seeks to plant 46 million tree seedlings during the current long and short rain seasons.
