Board Meets Tunga Media Afrika Over Collaboration in Clean Content Campaigns

The Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) Management, led by the Corporate Communications Manager, Ms. Nelly Muluka, today, 17th January 2024, held a meeting with representatives from Tunga Media Afrika, led by the Founder and Director, Ms. Cindy Makandi.
They discussed matters compliance and digital literacy as well as possible areas of collaboration in Tunga Afrika Media's educational program, whose overall goal is revolutionising learning by infusing it with excitement, interactivity and imagination through film. 
Ms. Muluka highlighted the Board's regulatory mandate, programs and campaigns, all aimed at ensuring compliance with laws and regulations that govern the film space, with the key objective of protecting children from exposure to inappropriate content.

She lauded Tunga Media Afrika, whose initiative encompasses the promotion of local clean film content and the wider African narrative while leveraging on the power of storytelling and information and communication technology (ICT) to enhance the learning environment within classrooms. 
KFCB is committed to collaborating with like-minded public and private organizations, championing programs that promote the creation and/or consumption of clean content while protecting minors and vulnerable adults from harmful content.
