-The Kenya Film Classification Board issued 415 Film Licenses in the FY 2016/2017. This is the highest number of films shot in Kenya in a year in the history of the film industry.

– The Board has licensed crews from Spain, UK, Australia, South Africa as well as local producers.

KFCB issues Film Licenses in 15 minutes upon the submission of applications, and remains committed to serve the industry, which has a tremendous potential for jobs and wealth creation for our talented youths and artistes in general.

– KFCB is a corruption free institution and we operate an open office policy in our service to our clients. This is the reason why we have been awarded the latest edition of ISO Certification and have in the past one year won two major global awards.

– In June this year the Board was rated at 97% by the State Corporations Advisory Committee for the FY 2016/2017 with KFCB CEO ranking the best performer among state corporations in Kenya.

– Our staff spread across the country are the most diligent, hard-working, disciplined and happy lot among the civil service. Two weeks ago our team was awarded the most coveted trophy (The Most Disciplined Team Award) during the KECOSO games held in Kisumu.
