KFCB Participates in the “The Role of a Leader in Shaping the Students World View” Forum at Alliance High School.

The Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) has urged religious and learning institutions to support its public awareness campaigns to enhance protection of children from unsuitable content.

Speaking on “The Role of a Leader in Shaping the Students World View” during the Kenya Students Christian Fellowship (KSCF) National Peer to Peer Summit held at Alliance High School earlier today, the Board’s CEO Dr. Ezekiel Mutua said KFCB will work closely with the organisation to create awareness on intelligent consumption of content in the country.

The function was attended by the KSCF officials led by Secretary General Mr. Joseph Odingo, and graced by artists who included Chipukeezy, Njoro, Mchungaji and Mtumishi and the Media Literacy Programme team led by Broadcast Monitoring head Ms. Emmah Irungu.

More than 400 teachers drawn from 150 schools participated in the event, meant to pilot the the implementation of peer to peer Ministry in schools.
