 Multichoice Graduands Urged to Embrace Technology, Tell African Stories through Film

The Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB), on 12th October 2022, graced the MultiChoice Talent Factory (MTF) Graduation where the Principal Secretary, State Department for Broadcasting and Telecommunications, Ministry of Information Communication and Digital Economy, Madam Esther Koimett, CBS, was the Chief Guest.
PS Koimett encouraged the graduands to go out, embrace technology, and use the skills that they have attained, to create wealth and job opportunities. 


Ms.-Nelly-Muluka

 

While representing the Ag. CEO Mr. Christopher Wambua and speaking on behalf of the Board, the KFCB Corporate Communications Manager, Ms. Nelly Muluka, commended the students upon this great milestone in their lives.
She further said that KFCB is cognizant of the changing regulatory landscape emerging trends and innovations in the film industry and is keen on embracing innovative ideas with the aim of creating a facilitative regulatory environment for the industry to thrive. 
 

Graduands

 

Ms. Muluka urged the graduands to leverage on technology and the benefits it has brought, especially social networks, to tell stories as well as to venture into content monetization. 
She also encouraged the graduands to familiarize themselves with laws and regulations that govern the film industry. 
"It is worth noting that KFCB and MultiChoice enjoy a cordial relationship and have continued to collaborate through the MTF Academy in various ways", Ms. Muluka stated.
