The Riverwood Awards 2018 Main Event

Broadcasting and Telecommunications PS Fatuma Hirsi, Kisumu County Deputy Governor Dr. Mathew Owili, and KFCB CEO Dr. Ezekiel Mutua graced the annual River wood awards 2018 pageant that went down last night in celebration of Kenyan filmmakers and their achievements.
“KFCB will guarantee a loan of up to Kenya Shillings 2 million to film producers through the Youth Enterprise Development Fund (YEDF). The funds are available to filmmakers across the country who shall submit a business proposal to us,” said Dr. Mutua.
The Board shall also set up a section at the Nairobi Film Center for film legend Mary Khavere aka Mama Kayai, complete with a hall of fame for Kenya’s veteran filmmakers.
