A total of 39 kenyans were banned for doping between the year 2014 and 2019.Asbel Kiprop an olpympic gold medalist was handed a four ban by Athletics Integrity Unit for doping.Asbel says that the ban was unfair and he calls the period of ban as a prison becausehe could not compete nor train.Elijah Manangoi was handed a two year ban for failing to get tested for 3 times and the reasons he submitted were not satisfactory as missing a test is an antidoping violation.ADAK says E.P.O which is a banned substance can only be prescribed by a doctor.
